Delivery

1. How long will it take for my Hush to arrive?: It takes about 4 weeks for our team to complete the manufacture of your Hush pod. Delivery time vary depending on your location.

Assembly

1. How long does it take to assemble my Hush?: The assembly time depends on the product model. For trained installation personnel: hushPhone – up to 1 hour; hushWork/hushMeet/hushMeet.open/hushMeet.s – up to 2 hours, hushMeet.L – 4 hours.
2. Can Hushes be plugged into an outlet through either the ceiling or the floor of the pod?: Yes, every Hush product can be plugged in through its ceiling or floor.

The Booth

1. How can I customize my Hush pod?: When ordering your Hush product, you can customize the color of the exterior carcass, interior upholstery and rear glass panels. Color options are listed on the last page of each product leaflet (available at hushoffice.com).
2. Can I move the pods around my office easily?: All Hush products are mobile by design. You can easily move each pod anywhere in the office without having to dismantle it. Only the hushMeet.L requires partial dismantling (disconnection of the modules) in some instances — because it is so large.

We recommend having trained installation personnel assist you in moving the pods.
3. Can I add a stool in a hushPhone post-order, if I order it without one?: Yes. Every hushPhone pod is designed so you can easily add a stool.
4. How much space does each pod take up?: The footprint for each Hush pod is specified in the installation manuals which are available upon request. To ensure sufficient ventilation, all products should have a ceiling clearance of 10 cm (3.8'') wherever placed. Detailed specs on the dimensions of each pod can be found in the product brochures.
5. Where shouldn’t I place my Hush pod(s)?: The Hush products should not be placed far away from working areas. For safety reasons, they also should not be placed in the middle of walkways, blocking traffic. They also should not be placed directly against walls, as your pod will not get optimal sunlight for working. Note that installing the product in direct sunlight may result in a stuffy atmosphere.
6. Where should I place my Hush pod(s)?: Hush pods should be placed within proximity of people and their working areas, respective to their working needs. hushPhone should be placed within short walking distance of all employees who regularly take calls. hushWork and hushMeet should be placed strategically throughout the office space, within proximity of working areas.

To ensure sufficient ventilation, all products should have a ceiling clearance of 10 cm/3.8'' wherever placed.
7. How many pods do I need in my office?: Review your team’s typical activities and working dynamics to identify how many pods you need. The following occupancy estimates can help:
hushPhone: ~10 employees;
hushMeet/hushMeet.open: ~15 employees;
hushMeet.s/hushMeet.open.s: ~10 employees;
hushWork: ~10 employees;
hushMeet.L / ~40 employees;

Acoustic

1. How good is the sound insulation inside the Hush?: We do not publish the results of our acoustic tests because there is no accepted standard for acoustic pod products, and the results can, therefore, be easily misinterpreted. In addition, test results do not reflect the experience of silence in a Hush pod.

We seek to provide ideal acoustic conditions for the people inside Hush pods as well as those working outside, within proximity. Our goal is not absolute silence because total silence is unnatural and unhealthy. We also had to consider safety — anyone working in a Hush product can hear the sound of an alarm, for instance.

To describe the sound insulation simply, anyone using a Hush pod can hear only muffled sounds from the outside, while anyone outside of the pod is not able to hear conversations being held inside of the Hush pod.

Certificates and declarations

1. Are Hush products ADA compliant?: Hush Meet L offers sufficient space and can easily accommodate a wheelchair. An ADA compliant product is available on request. The dimensions of other Hush products do not provide sufficient space inside to allow a wheelchair to manoeuvre freely.
2. Are the pods safe in case of an earthquake?: Hush booths are suitable for Seismic fixing, reducing the risks associated with earthquakes. The installation manual is available on request.

Electric

1. Can I adjust ventilation and lighting?: Ventilation and lighting can be adjusted in the hushMeet/hushMeet.s, hushWork/hushWork sit&stand, and hushMeet.L products. Adjustment is done manually using independent knobs.

Only lighting can be adjusted in the hushMeet.open/hushMeet.open.s products.

Neither ventilation nor lighting can be adjusted in the hushPhone.

3. Can Hushes be plugged into an outlet through either the ceiling or the floor of the pod?: Yes, every Hush product can be plugged in through its ceiling or floor.
4. How are the Hushes powered?: Every Hush product can be plugged right into a standard wall socket or floor box. They can also be connected to an electrical ceiling box – through the ceiling of the pod. The ventilation and LED lighting system in each Hush product use a 12V power supply.

Technical specification

1. Can I install sprinklers inside my Hush?: You can order Hush products with a sprinkler grommet.
2. How efficient are the ventilation fans?: Our fans have flow rates of 100 m3/h to 140 m3/h.

Each product is manufactured with the right number of fans and ideal ventilation duct routing for maximum comfort.

3. Can the Hushes be customized with a left- or right-handed door?: Both right- and left-hand-side-opening doors are available for the hushPhone, hushMeet/hushMeet.s and hushMeet.L products.
4. Can I adjust ventilation and lighting?: Ventilation and lighting can be adjusted in the hushMeet/hushMeet.s, hushWork/hushWork sit&stand, and hushMeet.L products. Adjustment is done manually using independent knobs.

6. Do the Hushes interfere with wireless signals (WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.)?: We have found no evidence that Hush products interfere with wireless signals.

1. What is the air quality like inside the pod?: Remember that the air quality inside the pod is a product of the air quality in the surrounding environment.
2. How efficient are the ventilation fans?: Our fans have flow rates of 100 m3/h to 140 m3/h.
