- 1. Do the design and materials of Hushoffice acoustic cabins take fire safety into account?
- Hushoffice products are thoughtfully designed with safety as a top priority. To minimize fire risks, our materials are carefully selected and tested to ensure compliance with international fire safety standards. Wall structures include components rated D-s1, d0, or D-s2, d0 according to the EN 13501-1. Additionally, the carpet used in our pods is rated Bfl-s1, according to the same reaction to fire classification. Upholstery fabrics used as pods’ interior are classified under internationally recognized testing procedures such as, among others: Class 1 (A) under the ASTM E84, EN 1021-1 and EN 1021-2, UNI 9175, or CA TB 117:2013. Lastly, our upholstery foam complies with BS 5852 standards.
- 2. Are Hushoffice pods certified for sustainability?
- All hushFree line private pods are GreenGuard Gold certified. The Hushoffice manufacturing process is also PEFC certified.
- 3. Are Hushoffice private pods compliant with the ADA?
- There are ADA-compliant products in the Hushoffice portfolio. They are branded as “access” pods. For now, we have marketed hush.Access.L, hushFree.Access.M and hushFree.Access.L.
- 4. Are Hushoffice pods earthquake-safe?
- All Hushoffice private pods come with seismic anchoring solutions. If you specify the earthquake-proof option in your order, we will provide a test report with instructions for your specialist installers.
