Hushoffice was one of the sponsors of the CoreNet Global Summit APAC, held from 14-16 March this year in Singapore. This year's event was held under the motto 'Putting it together', which refers to the attempt to redefine the current reality of commercial real estate. Hushoffice, as part of its partnership with CoreNet Global Summit, had a display area at the event, where it presented and gave attendees the opportunity to live test the hushHybrid acoustic booth – for hybrid working and better video conferencing.

Since March 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic first hit around the world, our sense of security and comfort, our understanding of the world – how we live in it, how we work in it and how we run our businesses – has been disrupted. Today, the time has come to put this reality back together.

The commercial real estate market and its clients are looking for an answer to the question: How can you further tailor your services to the needs of office market clients today while maximising support for HR and IT teams in a post-pandemic, hybrid world? In the current reality, experts in the commercial real estate industry are trying to shape and influence how and where work is done, which today is undoubtedly more complex and collaborative across different corporate ecosystems.

Direction APAC

Markets in the Southeast Asian region are among the most rapidly growing in this part of the globe. Discussions and presentations by the speakers focused on trying to define the hybrid working model of the future and the implementation of the metaverse in everyday office life. The topic of regional conditions that affect daily lifestyles, including office needs, was also an important issue discussed.

What we are seeing in APAC markets in terms of changing office realities is the need for minimalist design to match the DNA of the organisation, consistent and comprehensive management of office life including waste reduction, reduction of excessive energy consumption, use of natural resources, respect for the environment, the smart workplace concept and adequate acoustic comfort for both working and meeting. This is why there is so much interest in professional acoustic solutions for offices, particularly acoustic booths. In almost every presentation, the message rang out clearly – adequate quiet in the office is the foundation of good cooperation

explains Dariusz Hofschneider, Product Manager at Hushoffice.

“The CoreNet Global Summit is a series of industry events, held in different parts of the globe, organised by CoreNet Global, which is a non-profit association representing nearly 10,000 members in 50 countries with strategic responsibility for the real estate assets of large corporations. The organisation’s mission is to advance corporate real estate (CRE) practices through professional development opportunities, publications, research, conferences, designations and networking in 46 local chapters and networking groups around the world[1]“. The organisation successfully strives to upskill professionals in its target groups and – in a broad sense – moderates industry discussions on innovation and the way we live and work today.
