Our Hushoffice team have visited the Indian Subcontinent to provide training to and host meetings with local groups of architects, designers and A&I teams of our business partners.
The meetings took place at Haworth showrooms in India in October/November. Haworth India staff and members from other architecture and design studios attended the training and workshops.
The main aim of our visit was to upgrade the skills of the region’s teams regarding the Hushoffice product range, including intensive training on the assembly and installation of our products.
As part of the training, we visited three showrooms. One of them operates in Delhi, where our products are very popular. Another location was Hyderabad, the city with the largest number of IT companies in India. We went to meet one of our current customers there, with more than 20 of our pods installed in that location. We looked at how the acoustic office pods were used by office workers during the workday, which is always a great opportunity and gives an invaluable insight into the ways our products function and how they are used by our customers. The city of Chennai was the last stop on our itinerary. It hosts the Haworth showroom, as well as the company’s Shared Services Centre and its manufacturing unit. Talking face-to-face with the Chennai team also proved immensely beneficial for discussions about the local market and the sales potential in the region.
Our visit and intensive meetings with A&I teams and customers allowed us to gain even more knowledge and understanding of this market’s needs. The Indian Subcontinent market is consistently one of the strategic and promising sales markets on our map.
