Sustainable Development
Sustainability is a fundamental part of our strategy. We approach it multidimensionally by enhancing production processes, defining best business standards, and positively impacting the people and environment in our vicinity. We would like to offer our customers, business partners, and staff a safe, welcoming, and healthy environment for both effective work and fruitful cooperation.
PRODUCT
To work towards the goal of a sustainable industry and increased innovation, we continuously enhance and adjust both our products and production processes to meet our users’ needs while maintaining maximum sustainability. Moreover, our products meet the criteria of responsible production and consumption, serving as “reusable” solutions that can be effortlessly dismantled, relocated, and reassembled while moving to a new office.
We operate in accordance with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. It has been our decision to pack and ship our products in recyclable, lightweight cardboard boxes. Additionally, we cooperate with environmentally responsible component suppliers. Wood-based components of our Hushoffice pods have an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) conforming to ISO 14025 and are accredited to the FSC standard. Thanks to the use of paper bundling equipment, we can pack waste paper for future recycling.

BUSINESS
As part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility, our internal procedures are based on principles benefiting both our staff and business partners. We adhere to all obligatory documents regarding our daily operations, such as labour codes and procedures relevant to specific activities. We also implement measures to encourage best practices, including “Friend Referral Programme ” introduced for our recruitment process. We strongly support gender equality in terms of both employment and remuneration, and are dedicated to reducing other social inequalities within our company. Additionally, we have successfully introduced best practices for employment and work organisation regarding individuals who are deaf. Currently, 30 deaf individuals are employed across various departments of our production facility. We offer sign language courses to our staff to enhance internal communication and create a welcoming, inclusive working environment for all.
COMMUNITY
In our organisation, we live by the idea, “Think globally, act locally.” That is why, we aim to support local communities and institutions along with nationwide projects providing help to individuals in need. Moreover, we believe that large-scale commitment to social accountability should not diminish concern for our immediate surroundings, including the city where our production facility is situated and our overall contribution across Poland. It allows us to establish and support an international partnership for the Sustainable Development Goals. Our primary objective is to contribute to the good of children, who are the building blocks of our shared future.
Financial aid to UNICEF Poland – December 2022
Our company decided to provide help to Ukrainian children in need who have been forced to flee their homes and give up their happy childhoods to war. We made a financial contribution to UNICEF Poland to help support Ukrainian children. Our donation was used for humanitarian aid, such as providing medical and psychological support and the purchase of medicinal products, medical equipment, or essential items, including warm clothing, personal care products, and educational kits.
NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
The well-being of our planet must be central to the way all companies, regardless of the industry, conduct their business. We can all achieve success only with a healthy planet. With this in mind, as part of our commitment to climate protection, we decided to donate 3,000 trees, which were further planted in specially assigned forestation areas, including the Gostynin Municipality, the Arboretum of the Moravian Gate, Kamienna Góra, and Ogrodzieniec.
Planting trees is widely recognised as one of the most effective ways to combat the negative effects of climate change. It is a deliberate action aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of every business. By planting trees, and thus enhancing air quality, we contribute to a better and healthier future. The trees we planted are not just numbers.
